I was looking for help with my Tour. It seemed that some of my contacts were having their own annoying ringtones although I had never set them. I see that there were a few other threads w/ the same issue but they were older...
So, If you select the icon in the top left (Sound Profile) and go down to Custom Profiles or Set Contact Alerts it will should you your contacts w/ their own ringtones. You can delete them here...
If you want to use different ringtones w/o doing categories its easy to do from here, too.
Some of you may have figured this out already but I just wanted to help!
I am waiting for my Tour to arrive and am curious if the custom ringtones and alerts for SMS still work with the .419 OS. And if they do, does "vibrate only" still work even with custom alerts set like with the Storm or does the customs override the active profile like the curve?
