BB 9630 Keyboard dead

hey yesterday my blackberry started acting up -.-'
i've had it in the shower like always on the counter to listen to music.. nothing happened it was working fine like always
when i went out of the shower after like 10 minutes it still worked

Went to church () tried to check my phone.... screen didn't light up because my keyboard is dead... phonecalls still work etc eventhough i can't pick them up lol..

i know a keyboard replacement is required lol
is there a way to change the trackball to the trackpad btw ? like if i buy the 9700 keypad and change the ball in to a pad will that work?

There is no way to change the ball to a pad as none of the tour OS's support a pad.

i miss my bold 9700 thats why . the ball is really annoying . it makes my thumb numb after a while... i'll try to fix my blackberry by replacing the keypad if it doesnt work out i'll be mad ..The top keys and soft keys aren't working either btw

what part controls the softkeys btw?

The keys have a separate board to them.

If you want it so much, you can try to replace that.

Check to see if your
Mute and standby keys work.

I confirmed it does , i took the keyboard membrane sticker off , between the sticky part and the metal part where the buttons are there is a brown sludge , often made from water damage , i'll just buy a new membrane
and before I did this I've noticed that i can use my keyboard half when i hold the 0 key amd that thing is all brown.,
ill just replace it

I broke my trackball sensor flex cable by accident too since i'm drunk at the moment oops....
I want to order these 2 parts , together they are like 35 bucks but my question is , is this site reliable?
because im getting the housing & keypad from Amazon but they don't have these parts
