This is I believe a BB OS 4.7 issue as I had the same problem with my crappy Storm 9530 awhile back. Now the same issue occurs on my Tour. At least once a day when I'm on a call, my Tour's audio source turns off and the other person on the phone cannot hear me anymore (I can still hear them). After each occurrence I go to Tour's event log, and it says something like "phone app rim....audio source off". Basically it turns off the phone's mic in the middle of a call.
This problem never occurs on a bluetooth headset. When I had the storm and took it to VZW store for help, they said reinstall the OS, and it would fix it. Well it didn't! They gave me 2 new storms and they all had the same issue. I don't want to go through the same hassle with the Tour too. Please advise..
