now this isn't a "i'm mad at vzw so i'm leaving" kinda thing, but b/c of my discount, i can pay MUCH less per month AND i can port both my number and my fiancee's and get on a fam plan. right now she has a FL number and i have a PA number, but they said we can port together (so we'll save even more money AND not lose our numbers), plus we get sprint tv, unlimited gps, and such.
**just so i get don't the "good luck with dropped calls comments," numerous co-workers and friends have sprint and all have coverage in the areas i frequent, so reception isn't an issue**
however, i do like the dark chrome bezel better | This upcoming phone has caused more ridiculousness than I can recall. I hope you do go to Sprint.

You are a TYPICAL FANBOY!!!! with a TYPICAL FANBOY response. do us all a favor and get your facts and statements straight before a really smart person comes here and insults your fanboyism and intelligence. oh congrats on your plan woop di doo, i will stick to my Simply everything Plan and get everything unlimited for 99.99, match that, oh wait you cant. Lastly if im not mistaken Sprint has free roaming also so they can use Verizon towers so coverage is about the same. and oh yes i forget Sprint has the most dependable 3G and the numbers prove it more so than Verizon.

Verizon you will get your phone calls, which is why i stay with verizon | Quote:

Considering Sprint and VZW use the same technology, and have roaming agreements I think it would be pretty safe to say VZW's coverage is Sprint's coverage. Quote:

I did that move 6 months ago, no regrets.
I refuse to continue to let VZW leave me bleeding from the @ss. Quote:

He should go pay a minimum of $199 at VZW, which gets him 1400 minutes (with his 10 picks), or he could get 100 more minutes at Sprint for $70 less a month (no 10 off network numbers). He would also get an extra 2400 minutes (a month, PER line) or so with Sprint from his N/W starting at 7pm instead of 9pm. Lets just say he need more minutes to compensate having alot of off network friends. He can still get 3000 minutes with Sprint for $30 less than VZW's 1400 minute plan.
Lets even say he can't keep his mouth closed. He can get unlimited minutes on both lines for $10 less than VZW's 1400 minute plan.
Now who's part of the monkey show. Its pretty clear its you. Quote:

some of you crack me up.... some of you make comments like, "Sprint suck, AT&T sucks, VZW is too expensive," but the only thing that really matters is what works for the individual person. I have been on every carrier and I actually have had great luck with all, but AT&T works at my house so that is the one that I use. The other carriers have no signal at my house that is why I have AT&T..... It only matters on what works for you. It seems like the only thing most of us agree on is that we all love black(CRACK)berry.... My wife says I have a serious addiction. and she might be right but its all good. I have had a blackberry on all the major carriers and have likes and dislikes with them all. Again it's what works for you....

Where I live we call AT&T no bars in more places, they provide no coverage at all. Verizon, is the same, we call them the largest and most unreliable network. T-Mobile, you need friends and family, someone has to relay the message. The only provider here is Sprint. I like driving by the AT&T CO and seeing the cell site with the Sprint signs on top. All carriers have their good and bad coverage, just as all CSR's are not bad, there are some good and bad. I stay with Sprint because it works for me, but it may not for you.

lol i like how my question if anyone going from verizon to the sprint tour turned into carrier fanboyism.
i stated in the beginning that coverage is not an issue for me with either carrier and just wanted to see if anyone is don't the same as me. i guess the answer is a no.
i've been w/ verizon for a long time now, but from personal experience, the coverage is the same and i save money.
again, just wanted to see who (if anyone) was going from vzw to sprint

Fanboys are the best and should get a dollars per post as they bring lots of humor to message boards and provide endless entertainment. They can tell you what's best for EVERYBODY, without even knowing who they are. Ok, you think your carrier is better than the others. And you have surveys and articles that "support" what you say. That says 0 about what a specific person's experience with ANY carrier might be...
Honestly everything besides "if the coverage and performance works for you, go save your self some money, and "try it out or yourself and make your decision", was pretty much useless....

Since Sprint roams off Verizon and Verizon's coverage is SO much better why did I have absolutely no signal with my storm in my office but I get 3 bars with my Sprint Curve?

CB needs to rename this Forum "9630 Verizon fanboy forums" lol
They can even post their mascot pic in Sticky to make it official
