I recently purchased a Blackberry Tour on eBay, the seller had said it was a clean ESN and gave this story on the background of the phone: it was given to me by a friend to sell on their behalf. And she received it as part of a gift basket at a celebrity fashion event.
I got the phone, and it had a number on it already but it looked like the phone was never used, so I signed up with the number on sprint.com and it has a plan called "Demo Plan 1500." I called Sprint to activate it on my existing line and the person on the other end of the line said she couldn't activate it for me as it was already on that line.
What can I do from here? Is there something specific I should be asking for from Sprint CSR?
I've emailed the seller asking if there are any special activation instructions from the "fashion event."
