This happened to me a while back when i switched curves.

I activated the phone, recieves and makes call + SMS. But no browser icon, emails or MMS.

I took my phone into a store last time and he handed me my phone back with everything working in a minute. I was running late so i did not have a chance to ask him how.


so, how do i enable these things on my tour?

Sounds like the service books havnt been sent yet. Mine was the same way but when I sent my books everything else registers with the phone. Have you sent your service books yet?

Im not familiar with these, can you tell me what they are?

All i did was power up the new phone *228 and option #3 to activate the new one.

Just did this yesterday - you may have to call VZW and have them push the icon/service books back out to you again. They had to push mine twice.
