    If the 9630 is going to replace the 8830 on CDMA carriers, wouldn't it make sense to release a 9620 for GSM to be consistent with the 8820? I'd love to see an official version of this phone on AT&T.

    Yeah, it is called the Bold.

    Eventually there might be a 3g version of the Curve as well, but probably not for some time.

    I wonder how long AT&T's exclusivity is on the Bold? That might be the deciding factor to a 9620 coming to the market.

    Anything is possible. This isn't so probable. We all know that the 8900 is coming to AT&T to replace the old Gen Curves. We have the Bold. Then theres a HSPA version Javelin(Curve 8900). And as been rumored() that theres a new Bold coming that is much better than the original.
