It's been 24 hours, and I could not be happier with my 8830 upgrade. The 9630 fixed all the shortcomings I had come to find with the 8830 over 2 years use, while keeping a familiar form and function.

And the added camera is a blast!

All my initial issues (GPS, EVDO stability, etc.) have worked themselves out in the past 24 hours.

And I have used an ATT sim card in it after getting it unlocked (by vzm)

I made the same move and I love it too. I missed having a camera big time, especially now that I have kids. The brower's much better and everything is so much faster.
