    why can i not surf the web and talk on the phone the same time. i read in the tour book that if i have 3g i should do that. how do i know if i have 3g signal on my tour. and why it say on the blackberry desktop available 165 mb and on my phone it say application memory 114 mb. is there a different

    3G CDMA (1XEV) doesn't have simultaneous voice and data. You were reading the bit about HSPA which is 3G GSM.

    The CDMA phones use EVDO for data, which doesn't allow simultaneous voice/data.
