I have searched to no avail. I recently loaded the 5.0 OS and like it, but in my SMS threads each contact shows up with (phone) after it. Example:
Joe Blow (phone)
"blah blah blah"
I would imagine it would differentiate between contact's numbers, but it just says "phone". It is rather annoying especially when contact has different numbers and I have to go in and figure out which number it was sent from.
I know the SMS is coming from the phone, I'd rather it said (home), (work), (mobile) etc. anyone else have this happen?

Mine does this for people I only have one contact entry for, but if I have multiple numbers it shows which one its coming from

I agree.... Mine only shows phone when there is only one number for that contact

Hmmm. That's odd. It shows it for every contact, whether it's multiple numbers or not. Any suggestions?

After banging my head against the wall, I deleted all the old SMS threads (didn't have too many since I just installed the OS). Began new threads and now they come in properly. Hmmm. Gremlins.
