To the best of my ability to know only a computer backup file is going to restore the media card once it is wiped. The phone is a different issue.

Whenever I do a wipe or reload a new or current o/s my rule of thumb is first and foremost before I do anything else, media card comes out. Nothing effects anything that is on it anyway, so I just remove it. Even though I have backups of everything on my mac, I just don't see the point in leaving it in. Just my 2cents for whatever it may or may not be worth. I too, don't think you will ever get your pics or vids back, unfortunately

Don't panic.
If all you did was wipe the card the data is all still there. A typical wipe only removes the header information on the media, so that the index is read as being empty or 'wiped'. The data itself is actually still there. Only certain government wipes, magnetic, water or fire damage will result in destruction of the data - until the data is actually overwritten. Though in some cases, certain forensic programs can recover even two or three times written over data.
Win 7 has a pretty good disk management utility that may help, Norton has one as well. The better ones are expensive and will not guaranty results. It is an uphill battle, potentially an expensive one, but data recovery is usually possible. There are even data recovery experts for hire on the web. Again its just a matter of how important what you lost was and how much time and $$ you are willing to spend to recover them.Ad Lucem

Unless you've made a backup of your media card to your computer, I don't see a way they can be recovered. Sorry.
