Will there be Os 7.1 for blackberry torch 9860?

Can anyone please tell me if there will ever be a 7.1 update for torch 9860? leaked or official doesn't matter.

I'm sure I will be waiting forever. I'm on verizon with a 9850 and we are always late to the party. Then it seems all of the other carrier builds run better then ours do

Hoping so someone should leak it. Already OS 7.1 .117 has been leaked for 9860 as simulated.

I have a buddy that's a software developer and he said he hasn't saw anything for the 7.1 and 9860 yet on the charts.. Let's hope there is soon.

developer for who?? if its for a carrier, then yea probably wouldnt see anything. but im sure its in testing with RIM engineers already.

Its out there, don't worry, and RIM is definitely testing it. But if it hasn't leaked yet, then that just means that no one has bothered to leak it yet.

Remember, RIM doesn't leak the OSes, people do. So we don't see the leaks unless someone shows total disregard for their job and posts it.

True. But like other devices, some testers should release for 9860 also so that users of 9860 should also feel updated. Eager to test FM radio on 7.1 which works like normal FM without data usage.

Prithv, your logic makes no sense. You want someone to risk losing their job just so you can feel updated? As much as I'd like to see 7.1 go official for the 9850, I don't need a leak at the extent of someone putting their job on the line.

But hopefully today's release from Sprint will just be the beginning.

please.....people have been leaking OS's for years. i highly doubt they get caught or in trouble for it.
