When trying to call somebody from my address book only certain names come up

When I press the phone button on the Blackberry and then type a last name of somebody in my address book only certain names come up. I'm assuming they are all suppose to come up. Any quick fix other than deleting them from my address book and then readding them from my pc.

It must be the way you stored the contact, I have one such contact that appears as last name, first name, if I type the first name no contact appears. If I start typing the last name, the contact appears. This contact happens to be an email only and was added as a result of her emailing me.

If you go into your Contacts, Otions, what do you see under Contact Lists?

I would check to see if one or more Categories is toggled on (acting as a filter). For example, if you tagged each contact as either Personal or Business, and the filter was set to Business, you would not see any of your Personal contacts.

Contacts -> Menu Button (BB key) -> then ensure all categories are UN-checked.
