I have BB Torch 9860. I am unable to view email in HTML format. The option to enable HTML from the email preference is not available even. The available option is as per the image given below. Is there a solution or fix for this?

I had similar problem when I changed to my 9860.
I had to register again. (this may not be your problem), however,try this
1. Options
2.Device
3.Advance Systems
4.Host Routing Table
4. Press menu , click on "register now"

You will get a message saying you are now registered.
Then go back to email, and you should see the HTML selection

Is your phone a company phone on BES?

If so, your BES administrator might have it shut off.

Or the BES is ancient and doesn't support HTML email. That was the case with my current employer. I setup a BES Express server and got a lot of new functionality that the old unsupported BES didn't support.
