    Default Torch 9860 AT&T

Do you know if AT&T has discontinued the 9860? I notice when I go to their site now, I only see the 9900,9810, and 9360. I only ask because I still have my 9860 and I know I still have warranty left on my 9860 and if something happened between now and then, would I have to choose another BlackBerry or would I be guaranteed another 9860? Just curious to how that works once an item is discontinued.
    Devices i've owned:
    8900/9000/9650/9700/9780/9800/9810/9930

I just got a replacement 9860 the middle of October so they seem to still have replacements. I asked before I agreed to be sure I would get a 9860. They sent the new one, then I sent mine back.

they will replace it but it will be a refurbished unit (this isn't necessarily a bad thing; many times refurbished units are more dependable than units straight from the factory because a human actually worked on it and verified that everything was functioning appropriately)

Yes, and that is exactly what the OP was wondering, if they would replace it with a 9860 or something else. I got a 9860 when I sent in my 9860, it works perfectly and looks new. They didn't send the back though which was rather funny, I had to use my existing back, but all works well and I love it. My accelerometer had problems from the start, this one is perfect. I now love my phone and my language has cleaned up a bit.
