AT&T 9860 not available in stores.
Just waited outside one of the stores like a tool only to find out that it's online order only. AT&T probably figured that this phone really only is going to cater to a die hard bb users and didn't want to risk keeping too many of them around. Now I have to wait another 2 days for it to come in the mail FML

AT&T also won't let you buy the phone online full price, if you want to get it with no contract you have to go to the store to have it shipped to you! lol backwards!

I went to my local att corp store and they said end of the month to get the 9860 in stock. Guess I can order one online, but really wanted to see it in person first.

the typing is instant on the 9860/50. there may be a perceived delay because of the highlight popups, but you don't have to wait for them. try again, and pay no attention to the popups. it's a bit of a confidence thing.
i was very impressed with the typing after having an 8300, 8900, 9800, PlayBook, and spending a considerable amount of time on multiple friends' storms.

Our verizon store and best buy don't even have the torch in yet. I have given up on this piece. I waited so long for a new phone also and BB failed me with the bold 9930 and the torch 9850 that I have yet to see anyone in person own yet.
Look how long at&t waited for the torch or the bold. I don't fault a carrier that knows the real money and numbers is with android and apple. Heck, any lg, samsung, motorola outsell an outdated blackberry. Rim has ripped off their customers for too long and the competition overtook them. - 11-06-2011, 06:56 PM #23Nobody gets outta here aliveThanked by:

Im getting on the horn with customer service tomorrow - mine rang up $199 + $18 activation + $14.95 one day shipping. Their site clearly shows $99 with waived activation and free overnight shipping. For some reason I think being kicked over to the "Premier" site hosed me in some way.

geez. Website is trying to make me ditch my unlimited plan. Unreal. Like waiting a month wasnt bad enough. Hopefully my local store will have them tomorrow.
