Default Pround New Owner of 9860

    What's going on CB Nation!

Just informing you guys that I am a new owner of the Blackberry Torch 9860. I've been a Blackberry user since 07. My first BB was a Curve 8900 and at that point I've been a fan since. Just upgraded from a 9700 on OS6. OS6 did me justice, even though it had it's flaws here and there. Hey, what smartphone and OS's doesn't have them? But I've been using this phone all day and I'm in love with this. It's my first OS7 BB, so I am ready to experience it. The camera and speaker are flawless on the 9860. I've seen threads where people don't necessarily like the keyboard. I like it, maybe because of my small hands. It's my first full touchscreen phone (Never had an iPhone or Android)

    Blackberry 4 Life.

Same here. I had the Storm 1 and it comes in handy especially if you misspell a word. The speaker on this phone is amazing too. It was either the 9860 or the 9810. My family has the 9800, so I chose the 9860. Good choice for myself.

well got mine about a month ago, love the bigger screen but not so much love for the virtual keyboard, have to use it in landscape mode to type faster with less mistakes. Sometimes thinking if i should dump this and get a 9900......

Yeah sometimes I have trouble with the virtual keyboard in landscape, but the mistakes I do make doesn't make that much of a deal (Probably because of my patience.) One reason I didn't get the 9900 is because it doesn't have autofocus. It was my first choice.

Congrats. I am sure you will love your phone just as much as I do. It really is a fantastic piece.

That said the virtual keyboard does need work. I have even just now switched to the reduced keyboard to see if that helps.
    8700, Bold 9000, Bold 9700, Torch 9860, Z10! No case FTW!!!

I use the reduced keyboard and find it a lot easier for quick typing. But then I used the same keyboard on my storm so Im pretty much used to it .

I read some horror stories about the keyboard but after using it I have been pleasantly surprised
