Pround New Owner of 9860
What's going on CB Nation!
Just informing you guys that I am a new owner of the Blackberry Torch 9860. I've been a Blackberry user since 07. My first BB was a Curve 8900 and at that point I've been a fan since. Just upgraded from a 9700 on OS6. OS6 did me justice, even though it had it's flaws here and there. Hey, what smartphone and OS's doesn't have them? But I've been using this phone all day and I'm in love with this. It's my first OS7 BB, so I am ready to experience it. The camera and speaker are flawless on the 9860. I've seen threads where people don't necessarily like the keyboard. I like it, maybe because of my small hands. It's my first full touchscreen phone (Never had an iPhone or Android)
Blackberry 4 Life.

well got mine about a month ago, love the bigger screen but not so much love for the virtual keyboard, have to use it in landscape mode to type faster with less mistakes. Sometimes thinking if i should dump this and get a 9900......

Congrats. I am sure you will love your phone just as much as I do. It really is a fantastic piece.
That said the virtual keyboard does need work. I have even just now switched to the reduced keyboard to see if that helps.8700, Bold 9000, Bold 9700, Torch 9860, Z10! No case FTW!!! - 07-21-2012, 03:04 PM #10
I use the reduced keyboard and find it a lot easier for quick typing. But then I used the same keyboard on my storm so Im pretty much used to it .
I read some horror stories about the keyboard but after using it I have been pleasantly surprised
