Default Otterbox Commuter/Holster for 9850

I've been searching the forums and only found one thread about this with no good answer. Has anybody come up with a good holster for the 9850/60 with the Otterbox Commuter case?

The Seidio Active holster works perfectly with my 9930 with the Commuter on it and if I can find one to go with my Torch......awesomeness!

How about the Defender series rather than the Commuter if you are looking for a holster? I have the Defender and really like it. OtterBox has made significant changes in both holster design and the case frame since the 8330 and then 9550 Defender series. I did take the screen saver off of mine after a couple of months with no regrets.

I also have the commuter and am looking for a good belt holster.

Dont want the Otterbox holster....I would like one that locks/unlocks the BB like the OEM ones.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Tim

The Seidio case does lock/unlock just like the OEM ones.

Have you had any issues after removing the screen saver off your Defender? Is there risk of damaging the screen when using the Defender holster?

I used the defender (screen off) for about a week before I just couldn't take the fact that it made it very difficult to type (sides of the case are too high and too close) for me. To answer your question: no. There is no risk whatsoever in using the holster without the screen thingy.

I've got the Verizon Torch 9850 with the Otterbox Defender case, which I really like. I'm thinking about removing the Otterbox screen protector (don't like that it sits off the Torch screen, open at the bottom). I plan to put on the Verizon display protector which adheres to the phone. Do I understand you took off the Defender screen protector with no adverse affects to the case?

I'm using the Otterbox Defender for the Verizon Torch 9850 . There is a magnetic lock which locks the phone when in the holster.
