    Default Micro USB port damaged

We have two 9850's that both had their micro USB ports damaged over time. Can anyone recommend good repair facilities with approximate price to fix?

A local repair shop is your best bet.

But I think you can get one new for around $50 on eBay. Not sure where you live, but here they don't touch a device for less than $50.
