Default MIA Bridge

Just when I thought the fun was over, it is becoming a party.
I couldn't for the life of me find my Blackberry Bridge Icon. Went in all my folders and scanned everywhere. In the App World, it showed it was installed. How could I use it if I can't open it?
OK, quick remedy, I uninstall and re-install it. Not so fast. The uninstall worked fine, but the App world wont let me download it.
On the menu, it shows "Uninstalled", but no where on the bridge page is there a way for me to put in.
I saw some people were having issues with the bridge anyway. Is this part of the fun? Are we supposed to wait for a new Bridge App? Is there one coming out?

Sorry for the issues. I have bridge and no issues bridging with my PB.

Place a call to Blackberry tech support they might be able to help out.

When I try to download BB Bridge from appworld on my phone, it says it can't log in to my account. When I try to download it from the browser on my PC, it shows "The Item is not available for your Device Model, Device OS, Carrier and Country combination." What gives? My friend at work bridged his just fine. Doesn't bridge not work with the Torch 9860?

Also, my brother in law gave me this phone because he got a new one. Do I need a sim card to bridge my BB? It works just fine off my wi-fi...

For missing Bridge icon: check your various folders and make sure it isn't simply hidden. If its not there, you should also be able to get into it by going to Setup > BlackBerry Bridge, or by clicking on the top right of the homescreen and looking under Networks and Connections.

For not being able to download Bridge, you may need a SIM card as some carriers have put restrictions on Bridge and thus App World uses the data from the SIM card to ensure that the download is permitted. See if you can just borrow someone's SIM card temporarily.

The problem downloading was actually something to do with my BB ID..it wasn't going through, and after a factory reset, it worked fine. The BB is unlocked so I don't believe there should be any restrictions for simply seeing bridge.. Even after re-installing it, I stil couldn't see the icon anywhere.
