I've had this for about a week and a half now, and all I can say is the SureType is absolutely horid! Space key sticks and has to be hit several times, most keys miss the first press, and autocorrect and predictive text are very unreliable.

Because of the size of my thumbs I have to use the SureType, full keyboard isn't an option. Thank god for having my PlayBook paired to the 9860.

I've tried several times since it was released last weekend and got the same thing. It is now gone from the server, the latest/only version showing now is 7.0.0.261.

**EDIT**: Speaking of the Bell Mobility release, haven't tried the Telus version.

Would there be any difference between the leaked version and the official one?

Does anyone know whether this official 7.1.0.267 is the same as the earlier LEAKED version 7.1.0.267 ?

Oops ... same question as above. Sorry, just saw it.

Can a Telus Torch 9860 owner list ALL the "device info", for their new .267 upgrade?

    Thanks.

There doesn't appear to be any difference. I have the leaked version installed on my device, I uninstalled the leaked version from my laptop and installed the Telus version, ran the apploader and it doesn't say there's an upgrade available.

7.1.0.267 is the same 7.1.0.267 no matter which carrier or leak, the only thing that changes is the vendor file

Testing it since three days. Surely it's more stable than the previous official version. The keyboard is ridicolous: the worst thing of this firmware. Battery ok, even if I've activated the Saving Mode option. The only problem so far is that when the phone is in charging, sometimes i cannot use it because it remains stuck to the image of the battery level growing thanks to the charging. Is there any way to avoid that screen image?

The Bell and Telus .267 files are exactly the same.

However, the original leak .267 has less java files included.

    I haven't checked anything further...

I actually quite like the new keyboard. I find it quite responsive. What are you not liking?
