I know this has been asked once already, though I'm going to ask again. Can this Os be used on the 9850? As far as I know the two phones are pretty much identical, just one can use a sim card. I should be right in the assumption that removing the vendor file should allow it to work. I am going to put Os .402 on my phone, if it doesn't completely fix my problem. I do want to try this one.

NO. The vendor file relates to the carrier not the phone. The 9850 has different hardware (antennae), so different software is required.

Talking not working
I upgraded to this today for my AT&T 9860. Everything went fine but I have now noticed that people can not hear me when I call or take a call. It seems to happen on 90% of the 20 calls I have made. Please help as I have never had an upgrade problem before. I can hear them fine.

- Hey... Why Do You Want To Know?
06-16-2012, 03:35 PM #63
Have you deleted BOTH vendor.xml files? Have you made sure the os is for the 9860? Have you installed the os as an admin? Try these and should work then with anything. I use desktop manager which basically utilizes loader.exe

For some reasons, it seems the main Facebook App file on 9860 is not updated whenever you launch the app update, so you have to remove it and reinstall again. I did it three days ago and now I have the REAL latest version of Facebook app, and it works perfectly!

I noticed that on the "Device - installed applications" menu that some apps are listed twice... Even if I do a reset. I did a reinstall and then the app was listed once, BUT there are other apps listed as twice.
Glitch I noticed...
Other than that - This build kicks A$$. I want the .5XX build ASAP.I'm still here, happily rocking my leaked 7.1 Scorch (ahem Torch 9860, a.k.a. Storm 3)

anyone with this os release instal opera 7.0.0.3? it gives me a very small operating screen for it just like u run it with resolution for 9700 or curve models (the rest of the area will just appear with solid color), and touch screen doesnt work, so only button n trackpad, one more thing is i think the opera mini it installed is for 9700 or curve models.
edit: nvmind, already solved with opera 7.0.0.5 : )
