I tweeted Telstra yesterday and they replied this was not even in their current works. Is this the real deal?

Edit. It was on the Desktop Manager waiting. 9860 now more awesome.

Installed and tested. Very good OS, there's more free RAM memory than the previous firmwares, i don't still know if the battery life will be good or not, but it seems this OS is very stable!

It is 24 hrs installing this update over .402. amazing for battery and memory leakage in compariosn to 402. I am getting battery discharge 2-3% and only 10mb memory drainage in 22 hrs and that too first day of installation. while, I was getting memory 25-30mb drain every day on .402.

Is the audio bug still in this version ? IE: When you pause listening to a MP3 , then the audio sounds like a high pitch , no bass, etc . The only way out, is to restart the MP3 from beginning ...

After installing this Version there are no Ions for New Messages on the homescreen, just a red Star on the Message Icon but None in the status line.

Annonyingly yes the audio bug is still in this one!

I havent got any issues with missing notifications though, did you wipe device and install or just install over previous OS? (i wiped mine before i installed)

For those who have installed this build, can one of you please post what language support came with this build. I will only install if it has both English and Chineses language support.
I really want hwAsia, but I doubt the Asia build will have handwritting support, otherwise, they would have call it hwAsia install?!

For you who desperately wants your native language included, please search your BlackBerry® forum at your own region. That kind of forum usually provides your native language. You just have to instal it. I suggest you to instal English only if you want to use this OS. Then add your own language manually, via your local BlackBerry® forum.
In Indonesia, there's forum called indoberry which provide my native language.

No OS has ever had an embedded IT policy

it is snapier... faster .. not yet hour glass after 5 hours usage.
Battery seems less consumption...

Compare to 402. it is much better

If you'd stated that ten days ago, I'd agree.

However, if you look at the 9900 forums for posts regarding .391, .402 and .428, plus the 9860 forums regarding .402, you will find that due to the newly added Parental Controls, that an IT policy is now embedded in the latest leaked and released OS's.

Indeed it does seem to still have an embedded policy, my firewall is locked on so I guess this indicates it!
