Google calendar refuses to sync

Okay, I've tried everything I can think of and still no love from my 9860 to Google calendar. Things just don't sync either way. This worked perfectly for months now and only stopped last week some time. I've tried:

- Restart (through app)
- Battery Pull
- Check/Uncheck sync in email set up
- Resend service books
- Register device through the Host Routing Table
- Adding new entry on device
- Adding new entry on web

Just not having any luck with anything. Anyone have any ideas?

What are you using to sync? Just through BIS or the Google Sync app?

That happened to me. It used to work before but after some time it just stopped. You can try these:

- Delete / Add your gmail account from the email accounts setup and make sure you check the calendar sync box

OR

- Download Google sync using your phone's browser at m.google.com, during setup, choose the manual sync to avoid calendar duplicates. just

The first solution worked for me for a couple of days but the second worked best. Hope this helps.

Thanks for that. I did delete and then add my gmail account back and that seemed to fix it up for a while. I've noticed that it may be working after all, but just taking up to 90 minutes to update. I hesitate to use anything like Google Sync, since it's supposed to work through BIS but if that's what it takes to get it working then I'll certainly try it out.

Wasn't Google Sync deprecated or is it just not being updated any longer?

I can get this to work one way but not the other, can any one help

I use Google Sync on my Phone and it syncs the appointments from Google to my phone but not appointments which I have made on the phone to Google

Google to Phone works
Phone to Google nothing

How do I do Phone to Google.

i use google sync for calendar and contacts. It has been working very well for me. I wish RIM had their own solution for this but google will have to do.
