Default Can I use my laptop as a handsfree bluetooth with 9850?

I have a headset on most of the time with my laptop, and was wondering if I can pair my 9850 with my computer to use the headset on calls. I got it to pair as a modem, but it is having trouble finding drivers for all the other "bluetooth peripheral device". Any way to do this?

You would need to pair the headset with your BlackBerry.

Default The headset is plugged into the mic and headphones ports in the laptop.

I was hoping to use the laptop's bluetooth as a hands-free sort of thing. Possible?

Question. Why? Just pair the thing with your phone. I'm pretty sure you can have paired with both at the same time.

Default Headset is not bluetooth, it's wired/plugged into the inputs on laptop.

I use it for Dragon Naturally Speaking to do log notes and also to listen to music without disrupting others. I have to take off the headset to answer the phone (it's one of those gaming-type headsets with both ears covered, and a boom mic). I was thinking it would be cool to just answer with the computer headset. I'll give the desktop manager thing a whirl-

    Thanks

I think you get a problem because you don't pair your both device same time You need have to pair both your device at same time and also check your laptop configuration then restart your laptop. I hope your problem will be solved.

To answer your question in the thread title, yes. I have done it lots of times. The problem is folks on the other end will get a bad echo.
