Would I be crazy to swith from the Bold to the Torch?

I LOVE my Torch 9850 and my wife has a 9930....I think her phone is slick as ****, and I've considered the opposite of your question....but everytime I use it, I just do NOT like the keyboard....I don't see how any male, or a female with large hands, can use those things, and my hands aren't exactly huge.
I had the storm....and HATED it.....I had the STorm 2....and hated it. But I thought, "Okay....ONE more, and if it sucks, then BB can kiss my a$$." Well, I can tell you that this awesome phone has been my companion since Oct. 2011.....if BB had put out the 9850 INSTEAD OF that idiotic Storm 2, Apple and Android never would have pulled so far out ahead....that's what I think

Yes I know...here I am on a BLACKBERRY forum voicing my disdain for physical keyboards.....let the slaughter begin!! LOL

LOL, hey the keyboard isn't everyone's cup of tea. I partially agree with you tho, I enjoyed both versions of the Storm and got the icing on the cake when the Torch 9850 came out. I don't like typing on the keyboard either.

AT this point I wouldn't switch to a Torch. I would wait for BB10. I had the original Bold and loved it. I think they had a great keyboard. I went to the Torch 9860 after having lost a 9810. I decided to go with the 9860 because I was having problems with pain in my hand from the physical keyboard, among other computer related things I was doing. The touchscreen keyboard doesn't require as much force while typing so it helped immensely. I could have gotten another 9810 and used its onscreen keyboard but decided to switch for the better screen and thinner phone, since I was getting away from the physical keyboard.

I love the physical keyboard, but am happy with the switch since my pain has gone away. Still, I wouldn't buy a new phone until BB10 comes out.

i bought the torch for new on ebay for 200, no contract...my contract for verizon isnt up for new every 2 until later in the year, and that is when i will upgrade to BB10 device!

i bought the torch for new on ebay for 200, no contract...and have a buyer for my used Bold for 125...so it is only costing me 75 to go Torch...my contract for verizon isnt up for new every 2 until next november and that is when i will upgrade to BB10 device, probably the London

Okay, makes sense to me. I like my Torch. The screen is great. I like the larger screen over the one on the Bold.

I will keep the Torch and use it on the weekends, thus using my Bold M-F...I already have a Samsung tablet to get my Android fix...sorry Playbook, for now

shoot, I love both bold 9930 and torch 9850 so much I still keep switching activation back and forth...may also end up with 2 BB10 devices to get my fix!
