Default BB Torch9850 My end button is stuck down

I hope someone can help me on this. I have a bb torch 9850. Its only a little more than a month old. My puppy got ahold of it and there are some teeth marks in it. But the end button seems to be where he grabbed it. The button itself is stuck down. I can end calls and exit stuff but I really need to press down hard on it to do so. It also now tries to turn itself off. I asume its because of the button being stuck down. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

Wow!!
I'm not too familiar with disassembly, if you can even fix it. Do you have insurance on the phone?? That may be the way to go if no one else has a fix.

That sucks. I'm sorry. You could search youtube for a disassembly video. Good luck.

well if you have insurance i would go for that first, other than that there is no choice left,
to dissassemble it, maybe you could also consider a new housing and buttons too since,
you puppy got hold of it and there is some teeth mark marked on it.

no I dont have insurance on it. It was my brother in laws phone originally. He upgraded to this phone for his work then 2 weeks ago they told him they switched to the iphone which I had. So to save him money we switched. He never got the insurance on it and verizon will only allow insurance to be put on within the first 30 days I guess I could try to sell it on ebay to someone who knows how to fix it. Thank you all for the tips I appreciate it

I would put a drop (with a swab if possible) of WD40 and let it penetrate. I let my kid play with mine for a while and he had sticky hands because he had been eating candy. So my trackpad it was kinda same way, it wouldn't pop back up. Tried this fix and good as new.
