Default BB 9850 Torch Audio Enhancement feature

When I first received my BB Torch 9850 6 months ago there was this feature that I enabled that when I am on a call and there is too much back ground noise the call volume would increase or decrease automatically which helped greatly. I am now having hard time finding that feature since at one time I disabled that feature. Called Verizon Wireless and tech there could not help after trying for a long time. Any body know which feature I am talking about? That feature was really useful when you are in a car or kids in the background making too much noise etc.
I tried Options>Call Management>In-call settings but this is not it.
    Please help

I know what you mean. There was an "auto" setting where the phone would set the call volume based on the ambient background noise level. I remember this being on my Bold 9930. Danged if I can find it on my 9850 though.

I think the real term would be Noise Cancellation or Active Noise Control (ANC) or Active Noise Reduction (ANR). I checked the Manual and not finding any thing. Any body out there knows how to enable this or Rim got rid of it?
