Bad update from Verizon?
So my torch started of fine yesterday morning and as the day progressed it started deteriorating with random reboots, halfway startups where I had to pull the battery and put it back in so it would startup until late in the evening where it just crapped out and I got the black screen with the LED light blinking twice every few seconds.
So I called Verizon and I'm not sure how true this is maybe the rep had heard this all too often and just wanted to go through the motions but according to her she said that this was likely due to a bad update that was rolled out by VZ affecting BB's and also certain motorola phones yesterday and mentioned that they had an unusual amount of calls yesterday regarding the same thing. She even said not to hook up the phone to my computer as she wasn't sure if it could affect the computer but would rather be safe when I mentioned to her I was trying to reinstall the OS. She explained this to me and immediately said she was overnighting me a new handset.
Just curious to know if anyone experienced anything similar.
