    Default back button issue?

    TLR at end.

ive had this torch '60 for a few months now without any major problems or issues.

till this past week when my back button started acting funny. it seemed to not register the button being pressed.

now i kind of had this issue before; but it was isolated to the crackberry mobile site, i would sometimes have to press the back button a few times before it would register.

haven't given it any thought since i switched to tapatalk.

so now my back button is acting up in different apps at random times...

the good news is that i figured out that if i press my menu button or press and hold the menu button; then pushing the back button fixes the issue.

i remembered that a few posters here had mentioned that the torch '50/'60 had hardware issues with the back button not working.

the way this is looking, it's more likely a software issue and the problem is shared with the menu button.

tl:dr if you back button is not working: press the menu button or press and hold the menu button then press back.

Watch your screen if webside is still loading.
It happens to me if a webside is not ready to read yet.

I thought it was a software problem too, but eventually I replaced the front part. All the buttons go to a ribbon cable, that is why a combination of button pressing apparently worked. In my case I had to press the back or menu buttons with the send button.
