Default ASK: How to Kill Browser's Memory?

    Hi,
Everytime I close browser from menu key, I hope the browser is really closed, not running in the background.
But the fact if I see application manager, browser is the most memory eater.
Does anybody has solution, how to minimize this "RAM eater" from reducting my available memory with a save way?
Thanks and sorry for my English.

I don't think you can. I have seen it running too in my older blackberry I check to see if it runs in my new one. But have you tried to shutdown other apps instead?

There's just no way. I have not come across any apps that can free up the memory the browser takes hostage. It's unnecessary for it to hold on to it. I mean once you close it, it's not holding on to data that you want anymore. If that's the purpose of hogging memory while we closed the browser than that's just daft.

Wow that's a small number compared to mine. When I check mine I usually see 105-120mb. In the browser part.

Yeah, the browser seems to molest the phone memory for some reason. When you first boot up after a battery pull the browser is using a couple of megs, that after a few uses its hogging up about 100 megs. I'd also like to find a way to minimize this, but I'm not sure there is a way.

Trying several ways, including memory cleaner from advance security settings or 3rd party app from appworld, and the result's not that good.
Several time observing, in time that through, the browser's RAM will decrease, but still in tens MB.

If you're not understand my English, neither do I.

Those 5 are always running and can't be closed. Home, browser, bbm, messages and call menu.

This clears a bit a memory but not much.
