Anyone know when Bell will releawse 7.1 for the 9860?

I am getting kind of tired of waiting for an official release, but I have a corporate phone so I can't really put a leaked OS on it. Getting a little bit worried since the stopped carrying the phone and I am starting to wonder if they will just let the update go.

When I saw that Bell released 7.1 for the new full touch screen Curve last week that has only been out for a couple months I figured that if they would were going to release 7.1 for the 9860 they would have already done it. So I upgraded to the leaked 7.1.0.267 and love it! It's so much better than the OS that was originally on the phone from Bell.

I had quite the go around with Rogers when I asked wireless support if they were planning on releasing OS7.1 for the 9860. They were rude and dismissive and over the course of about 10 emails I learned the following:

1. Rogers technical support will try to ignore your question, even if you ask it 10 times;

2. The wireless support team does not have anything to do with software updates, those are handled by the wireless development team;

3. The wireless development team will not respond to questions from customers, or questions from the wireless technical team.

In short Rogers will not confirm or deny that it is currently supporting the 9860. I only asked if there would be an update to OS 7.1, I was clear I didn't need a date.

If anyone wants to know I reccommend they call their carrier and ask, its the only way they will know people care about updates.
