I have used a LOT of touchscreen devices, and even MORE KB devices...and I have to say...the 9930 I have ROCKS over the others. As we can all say tho...its so much personal preference that its hard to compare...these are amazing phones....it comes down to how you use yours. I never watch movies and rarely watch videos...so my 9930 is AMAZING! Its fast and I can use it well with one hand...This helps a LOT at work when I have to take a glove off and reach into my coveralls to answer a call. I have owned many droids as well....the latest being a droid razr maxx....and those are amazing phones as well. However, I still went back to BB! I was totally blown away at how content I was going from android 4.0 to legacy OS....its just....NICE! If going to OS 7 is an upgrade for you...you just have to decide how much you like that physical KB! *Grins* Good luck! lol

Yea i agree...i have a galaxy note as my backup device.. but my 9900 is my primary phone. Love that thing. keyboard is amazing. It's all business with that phone... i leave the multimedia stuff for the note.. pics, vids etc. Mind you the 9900 has a very impressive camera.. i've loaded up several vids on my laptop and the quality is amazing for 720p.. i was impressed. its a good all round device that's for sure.

I chose the 9860 before, probably wouldn't go that route again. I miss my keyboard a lot. But then again that is the only deficiency I have found, otherwise I love this phone! It's reliable, durable, has a great battery life(two days of my moderate use), nice size screen though I find the 4.2 screen perfect this 3.7 is very good, and I find the camera fantastic.
The bad stuff though would be keyboard is brutal, especially in the cold, app selection is horrible and will not get better and accessories are really lacking.

Advice please on 9850/9860 vs 9900
I have both. I have switched back and forth but now generally prefer the 9850.
Of course there is no matching the physical keyboard on the bold if that is your main consideration. If I was an extreme messenger, I'd probably stay on the bold.
However I find the large screen on the torch is really more important to me and the touch keyboard in landscape mode is effective enough. And as others mentioned the camera on the torch is better.
Bottom line is the bolds screen is just a bit small for me.
