Acts like a middle aged man
Wants to do a lot but runs out of energy quick.
My battery dies disguistingly fast, even when I'm not doing anything on it, I watch my phone drain by about 1% every few minutes, sometimes every other minute.
Wifi off
Bluetooth off
Screen brightness is minimum
Screen times out in 10 seconds
Battery saving mode is always on
All apps closed
No apps updates unless I manually do so
I occasionally use the browser
Mostly listen to music
And I get messages pretty often
I am about to stomp on my 9850 because I can only get through half a day usihg it. - 05-17-2012, 10:47 AM

In a half hour my phone just dropped 20%, how often does this happen to you guys in the Crackberry community.

Sound like a faulty battery. Go to your carrier & see if they would give you one.

I had this on my phone a while back. Brutal battery life 17 -20% /hr so I started removing apps one at a time and it seemed to be the google maps app that I had downloaded. once removed it went back to below 5% /hr. (it may have been running the GPS or something not sure)
Hope this helps - 05-17-2012, 12:09 PM #5
I had similar problem with my 9790. A friend has the same phone and we swapped batteries for the day. His phone was fine on my battery. I reloaded my OS and deleted my battery saver app and was fine ever since. Initially my drain was close to 20% per hour. Keep deleting apps and maybe turn of your GPS location services for a day and see if that helps.
