Hey OP, Engineering screen is not one you should be tampering around in, and the fact that you dont know how to access it further concerns me, are you sure its the Engineering screen you want to get into?

Yes, it is the engineering screen I want to get into. I have plenty of knowledge and have worked for many years operating wireless network switches and base stations. The fact that I dont know a key sequence on a particular phone model to enter an e-screen is not relevant to whether I know enough about wireless technology or not.

On the home screen press and hold the back button and tap the top left and top right corners of the screen back and forth until it comes up.

It only takes me to the help screen where the vendor ID and other info appears. If I press the menu button I dont have any option for the e-screen.

I have never accessed the engineering screen via pressing "menu" from the Help Screen. I always access it via entering the detials off the Help Screen onto a WEB page hosted by RIM support. The web page then returns a code that is entered onto the same Help Screen.

I am unfamiliar with your method.

Good Luck!

i posted an app awhile back that you can download to your phone. its an escreen generator, so you wont need to use a computer to generate the code. once on the help me screen, type the code given (you wont see anything being typed). then it will bring you to the escreen. i used to use the 30 day code, so everytime you go into the help me screen, you get the escreen instead. honestly, theres not much you can change in there that makes it worthwhile. lots of information that could be useful though.

Settle down bruh. By your responses you haven't been in the escreen on any model. Your big blow out doesn't show you know anything about wireless devices or their oses.
You have to get to the help me screen 1st. Using app switcher open your browser. Its important you don't close help me screen. Inside your browser go to
Code:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9610464/HeplpScreen.html
and input the info to genearate the key needed to get into escreen.
I personally don't care if you brick your device. I've to brick all of mine and haven't been able to do it yet.
