Clearing out as in a cheap price like they did with the PlayBook?

Sorry, I should have been more clear (and can't seem to edit my subject/headline). They are no longer stocking it. It is advertised as '$0.00' on new 3 year term, of course. It's still on the Telus website, but the local dealers can't get anymore, so not sure if this means RIM has discontinued it too.

Can't blame them it was a crappy phone at least for me...with the back button issue and keyboard issue. I say took long enough

I love my 9860. The back button issue must have been software related as I had the problem only on the original os. It went away when I upgraded and I have not had a problem on any subsequent os upgrade.

Rogers has already stopped selling it as well, no longer available on the website. I'm also glad I grabbed it before it was discontinued because I really like it.

I picked my up off of amazon, I was browsing through the sprint website when my upgrade was ready and it wasn't there so I went on wireless.amazon.com and I bought it for approximately $130, cheaper then from sprint anyway (this was at the end of feburary)

I went through the entire inventory of 9860's at my local Telus store before I got one that worked properly. Luckily the last one was a keeper but now the store itself is gone! Not sure what happened to it or where it went!

You just had a faulty device. You should have gotten a replacement... it's a great phone!

Such a shame. Its such a great product! A few tweaks and it would be the perfect phone for me.

I love it when i pull my cellphone out and galaxy/iphone users ask me "what phone is that?"
My favorite response is to tell them I dont like carrying bricks in my pocket

Everyone that sees mine can't believe it's a blackberry. It's funny how everyone with an ifone is looking for a charger all day long, my son has to carry an extra battery for his andriod.

I picked one up yesterday - I was eligible for an upgrade, so it was free! Now my husband gets to replace his company-owned trackWHEEL BB with my old Torch 9810. Love it so far. And the TELUS guys were very helpful and professional during the upgrade process. Great day for everyone.

i would live to know how many of these phones have been sold. I know a couple of people with them, but if its being discontinued sales must have been poor!

I think most of the old school bb users were afraid of the no keyboard situation. Some old dogs are stuck in there ways
