    Question 9850 h+ /3g?

I am wondering if the 9850 torch shows H+/H (4g) once on a supported network,my network supports 2100mhz 3/4G or if it shows (3G) only, I am looking to purchase one but dont want it unless it will show H/H+

i know 3g will show as i had a storm 9550 just wondering if H+ will show on this 9850

Can't help cause there is no hspa+ where I live with my carrier. I would think it would be the same as the other OS 7 phones though.

If you have a Torch 9850 you have the Cdma torch. when you look at your screen it won't show H+ which is HSPA+. You'll see that on the Torch 9860. The Torch 9850 screen will say 3G. Thats what is supported on the device. Now since it is a world phone it will support HSPA and EDGE when your in a part of the world where the CDMA network isn't supported. H+( HSPA+) is technically 3.5G. But AT&T and TMobile call it 4G. Hope that answers your question.

My wife's 9860 from our carrier shows 4G, my 9860 from rim shows 3G on the same carrier. Both phones are running the same os 7.1.0.402. I have no idea why the display differs.
