9850 Battery issue?
Ok, so I unplug my 9850 with a full battery. I sit down, surf the internet and/or facebook for 5 minutes, and the phone suddenly rebbots itself. When the homescreen comes back up, the battery indicator is on RED. I immediately plug in the phone, and the battery indicator instantly shows it....FULL.
It has done this for the last week. Any ideas? Fixes to this point have been a security wipe (didn't fix it) plus 3 OS complete reinstalls (some downgrades, plus most recent OS, and this also fixed nothing) - 12-30-2012, 02:47 PM

Or ebay, when my Storm started the random reboots, I found a battery Ebay for 5 bucks. Solved my problems and kept me super happy.

I have Verizon and have insurance on my phone and they give me a new battery free of charge every time my batteries are dead. I also have been using the same store for 8 years now, but try your carrier...you never know.

I have Verizon insurance too but two days ago they told me the battery is not covered only the phone hardware is and I would have to wait for a week for a new battery to be delivered at full cost. I hope Verizons attitude about BlackBerry improves when BB 10 comes out.

I had the same issues my phone is 14 months old or so. If the phone losses charge rapidly, take the battery out. If it appears bloated, or will spin on a flat surface, it's cooked. They aren't cheap to replace but I'm glad that they can be. Unlike Apple stuff.

9850 Battery issue?
Same happened here...
At first it dropped to 1% while in around 50%...then 60....70...and last at 95%, sudden drop to 1%
Now my dillema is finding an original battery here in indonesia. Official BB store sells for around $28. many onlineshop sells for around $15, but the originality is questionable. But thereare several aftermarket battery sold for around the same price (6month warranty and no pairing needed)
