Default 7.1 for the 9860?

Is there an official, leaked or any other sort of 7.1 for the 9860? I've followed the link at http://crackberry.com/blackberry-os but it ends up taking me to a page for "Official OS 7.0.0.585 for the BlackBerry Bold 9900, Torch 9810 and Torch 9860 from Vodafone DE"

Can't seem to find anything else.

Mike

Here is CrackBerry's BlackBerry OS Superpage. You can find the latest official and leaked OS here.

Yes that's the link I pointed to in my original post. When I click on the link for the 7.1 for the 9860 it takes me to the page for the latest 7.0 for the 9860.

Thanks for the link. I knew it was on here somewhere but couldn't get to it at work because file sharing sites are blocked. I'll grab it when I get home tonight. I'm just reading the thread on impressions for the leak now.

Unfortunately I'm now showing the file was either removed ore deleted. Is that the only site it was on?

Does anyone know if you can turn off predictive text with 7.1?

Forget it I figured it out.

I suggest to wait the official firmware rather than the leak version. Your device still in good condition using your current firmware, right?

Normally there's nothing wrong with using leaked versions, many of them end up as official carrier-released anyways. "Official" only means a certain carrier approved it for release, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's bug-free or any better or worse than other versions. I've had 3 different BBs and have used every leaked OS for them without any major issues.

And to the OP, the very first post in this forum is for the latest 7.1 release. The latest "official" releases will always be posted at the top of the forum, you can't always count on the superpage to be up to date. Leaks will be posted in the leaked/beta OS forum.

I don't know, Noah. Some users complaining about the 7.1 version. Some say about battery, some about applications, and someone says about the unability to pick up the phone call. I was assumed that the leaked version is the beta version, and official is the final release. I'm noob about blackberry, so that was just my opinion.
