Is it me? Has it been moved? Is the option even in this build? Under options in media the audio boost option isn't there!! You know, the one where if you enable it you get a warning pop-up asking if you're sure if you want to enable audio boost and you ears will bleed to death if you do and will probably die a horrible death anyway!! - Yeh, that one!!

I'm on .714 (9860) and it's there.
Maybe you can try re loading the OS. Is that a pure .714 or hybrid? Any funky shrinking involved?

It was downloaded from a link on this site as an official release so I assume it's legit! Saying that, I did strip the cr*p out of it in the Java files and with BBSAK. Perhaps I stripped out a bit more than I should of. I will re-load and see if the audio boost is there as an option.

Reloaded the official download and the audio boost ISN'T there!

Seconded, the only option there is the headset equalizer one which i think they may mean!

Not a major issue though, once you've ticked the box when increasing volume it'll remember the ear bleeding volume settings until next reboot
