Unable to erase a file

Since the last few days , I am facing this issue.
I am unable to erase some pictures , which i have received via #BBM . When I try to erase , I get an error saying "The file is currently in use"
I have no idea , which application is actually using this file.

If you received them from BBM, then BBM is still hanging onto them.

Perhaps try connecting your BB to your computer and deleting them that way.

I have ended that chat , to check it out.
yes, it is possible to erase it using PC . but the issue is why not with the BB??
My memory card also gets corrupted frequently

Its a glitch that happens occasionally. I sometimes have to uninstall Facebook to get rid of an un-deletable notification.

Buy a new memory card. The one I'm using has been through two WM phones, four 9800s (three bad, one good), two 9810s (one bad, one good). The only thing I've ever had to do was copy the files off the card, reformat it, then copy the files back on. I've done that once, maybe twice, in the entire time.
