Default Trackpad barely works with fingers

Title explains it all really. My trackpad doesn't work too well when I control it with my fingerpad, works better when I control it with my fingertip, and works perfectly when I put a piece of kleenex between the trackpad and my finger. I noticed this started in December, and am wondering if this has anything to do with the difference in humidity? That is all I can think of, save for trying a different soap (joke). Anybody have any suggestions?

Alright, s I have already stated, as soon as I place something between my fingers and the trackpad (tissue paper) it works magnificently. So it has nothing to do with sensetivity or a bad device.

I have the same problem and it happens with every device I tried. I guess I just have faulty thumbs. I wish there was a Torch with trackball instead of that trackpad.

the reason why no one got back to you after a full day was the fact that you cant be rude to people trying to help you.

ive heard of this issue a lot, personally mine seems to be fine if not a lil laggy, but a lot of people have had the same issue and found doing an OS update to fix the problem. check around the board and see what you can find
