Default Torch is really warm on the back, and green light is on constantly, but faint!

I've got the phone today (2nd Hand) and I've loaded it with the latest 7.1 (thanks rroyy!) And now I'm having this problem!

Does anyone have experience with this and know how to fix it?

I think I may reinstall the OS and see if that works!

    Thanks in advanced

if the device is getting hot on the back, the battery is worked too hard or continuously. the green light should never be constant, if anything it should flash as normal like it does when Blue-tooth is on and connected. I would say that your device may be defective.

Was it doing this with the original OS installed? Maybe try reloading once again after a complete wipe, do not reload your data before testing to see if the same results occur.

yeah i've downloaded them, and had a look at the clean install thing and that's what i've done! i'm hoping to god that it's not something broken on the device

i'm in 2 minds as to whether to claim my money back and send the broken device back to the original owner.

the only way i can describe what's happening with the phone is comparing it to being plugged in, it gets warm in the same place and the light stays on like it's plugged in but obviously it isnt!

i'm gonna let the battery charge to full and possibly overnight then battery pull, although pulls up to now havent helped
