Torch 9810 switch from At&t to T-mobile
I have been having issues with AT&T and am considering switching to T-mobile. TheoreticaLly all I hAve to do is slip a T-mobile sim card in Right? I've heard I possibly need to unlock my AT&T phone. What should expect by doing so? Pro's? Con's?

The device definitely needs to be unlocked in order to work.
Also, you likely will not get 3G unless you are in one of the areas that had 3G recently added due to the failed merger between the two. - 02-25-2013, 06:21 PM #3

Torch 9810 switch from At&t to T-mobile
I was told that even with the 9810 unlocked, you will not get 3G with t-mobile, it isn't the lack of 3G, just that att and t-mobile use diffrent freq for there 3G service, so an att 9810 will not get 3G on t-mobile, just like a t-mobile 9810 won't get 3G on att.
