    Default SD Card Help

    Hi,

I just got my 9810 the other day and love it. I've been using my wife's 9800 for the last year and this phone just feels so much more slick.

I bought an 8GB MicroSD card yesterday and installed it. Under "Storage" in options, the phone recognizes the card, and for good measure I formatted the card after installing it.

When I go into the Camera and select options, the "Store Pictures:" Option is greyed out and stuck at "On Device". I'd kind of rather save the pictures to the SD card, so this really isn't helpful for me. Is there some obscure checkmark somewhere I need to tick, or what am I doing wrong?

    Thanks for any help.

First thing I would try is a battery pull, yes and actual physical battery pull. If that doesn't solve it, I'm not sure as I've never had that problem.
    Cell Phone History:
    Motorola Bag phone > Motorola Star Tac gen1 > Motorola Star Tac gen 2 > Motorola Razr > BlackBerry Pearl(8110) > Iphone gen1 > BlackBerry Curve(8310 Red) > BlackBerry Torch(9800 Black) > BlackBerry Torch II(9810 Gunmetal Silver) > BlackBerry Bold 9900) > BlackBerry Z10(STL100-3 Black)

Ahhh.....The classic Battery-Pull Move. Not sure why I didn't think of that, but I sure didn't. In any case, it worked like a charm.

    Thanks for the help.

Now if only more apps would move from OS6 to 7, I'd be all set.
