random rebooting
My 9010 has started acting goofy after a year+ of service. I have dropped the latest downloaded apps but to no avail. It will reboot during phone calls, texts, just about doing anything. Am thinking of trying to go to 7.1 (am on att). Any suggestions?

Have you tried a different battery?

My first 9810 did the random boot thing big time. Almost right out of the box. Got it replaced under two weeks from purchase. Almost no similar issues since then. I did start to have the problem again, to a much lesser degree, after an OS upgrade. A reinstall of the OS fixed that.
Back up your apps and data and try either a reinstall or an upgrade. If you want to go for 7.1, go for the upper .2xx builds or .3xx builds. All pretty solid, AT&T hotspot without tethering. Anything .4xx and up loses untethered hotspot and multiple locations have mike muting issues on AT&T.More thoughts at Bill's Spiritual Musings. http://billkraski.blogspot.com - 07-14-2012, 05:37 AM

random rebooting
That happened to me recently. Along with random reboots, callers on the other end couldn't hear me. I wondered what it could be, then my Weathereye app began popping up spontaneously. Deleted Weathereye and haven't had a problem since, however it's only been 4 days.
