rjkolo, does this update lock you out of using your phone as a wifi hotspot? As a fellow ATT customer, inquiring minds want to know.

The leaked version blocked Hotspot for me, this official version probably will too.

Leaked and official are the same thing. The only difference is that a "leak" becomes "official" when a carrier adopts it.

Any chance you can manually switch between 4g and edge. I know everyone says the berrynow detects signal and switches when appropriate, but my berry lasted much longer when was always on edge.

It's actually the carrier that's blocking mobile hotspot

I prefer edge also. My batt last for 3 days no charging. Unfortunately mobilicity only works on 3G for me. :-(

No major changes. 4G (on ATT) icon went back to H+, still can't switch networks between 4G/Edge. Playbook Bridge works well, Wi-Fi Hotspot works fine for me, Bluetooth connection seems a bit better. Browser seems no different, avg. battery discharge 2.3% dropped down to as low as .7% when in bedside for 8 hours a night. Did seem to resolve the touchscreen issues I was having, don't have to triple tap something anymore. Solid build.
If you're not living on the edge, than your taking up too much space!

    rroyy:

Can I impose upon you with a question. I have a PB and BB9810 and I am using AT&T. Shortly after I purchased the PB, I did a download from your site to allow me to get emails on the PB "thru" the 9810 if I was out of WiFi range. This wroked great until I downloaded OS 2 for the the PB. The 9810 has v7.0.0.583. Can you tell me what downloads I need for each device to re-create the "link" I had to read surf the web and get emails on the PB "from" the 9810 when I am out of range of WiFi?

One last question, what does "OTA" stand for on your website?

Thanks so much for your help.

    Default Cant update

Guys im trying to update using the instructions on this link:

    http://crackberry.com/blackberry-101...ting-system-os

but on step four, when this is supposed to happen "You'll then see a dialogue box that tells you it's searching for device application updates" nothing really happens.

Any ideas what may be wrong?
