    Default Great build

The only little issue is the back button not responding all the time, and when you go into your picture and try to sort them from newest to oldest, or oldest to newest doesn't seem to work right.

Bizarre - I had installed .439 and it DID solve the delete multiple call logs issues - but I went back to .261 because I could not deal with the menu/escape key problems.

    Very weird . . .

You absolutely can now delete call logs with this OS by scrolling while holding the “caps” button and then delete OR by multi-touching to highlight multiple calls and then hitting delete.
This was not working on .353.

Most impessive build so far. The "back" and "menu" buttons issue is terrible though. I've had to press them up to 4 times on occasions. This is a huge flaw to me,cause I'm used to holding the "menu" button for app switching all the time.

How they could release this with an issue like the menu/escape button is beyond me the majority seems to have that problem. And they are actually the adjacent buttons on either side if the track pad.

You think something so small as needing to double click the buttons is a huge issue? I've seen a lot worse OS's for various phones(several BB OS's)have way worse issues and still become carrier official OS's.

Case in point, there was an OS for the original torch 9800 that was an official release that made the browser crash ever time you used it. How about the original launch OS on the 9800(141) phone was basically unusable. Only used the 9800 as a case study because those OS's are still fresh in my mind, but there are plenty others that have been worse.
    Cell Phone History:
    Motorola Bag phone > Motorola Star Tac gen1 > Motorola Star Tac gen 2 > Motorola Razr > BlackBerry Pearl(8110) > Iphone gen1 > BlackBerry Curve(8310 Red) > BlackBerry Torch(9800 Black) > BlackBerry Torch II(9810 Gunmetal Silver) > BlackBerry Bold 9900) > BlackBerry Z10(STL100-3 Black)

I'm sorry, but I have to take issue with your statement of "something so small" regarding the menu/back buttons. We are talking about a core functionality here. This is not something people might or might not use, but hardware buttons pressed hundreds of times per day. This is also the most likely reason this build got taken down in a matter of hours, and nobody else has released it.
It's a real pity that, because this is by far the best build otherwise. Everything seems snappier, battery life is a lot better and so on.

Could have something to do with the fact that Wind doesn't publicly carry the 9810 yet, too. Just sayin'....

I also have to agree that this is not a "small issue" - for me, it was not only just a matter of having to click the menu/escape buttons - sometimes the buttons would not work at all, forcing a re-boot. Yes - I know that opening the slider solves it - but when in my car cradle, opening the slider is not an option.

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, as I have not had the chance to read past posts, but I cannot for the life of me, cannot attach ANY pictures to ANY BBM contact(s).

It doesn't matter, if I attach the pic from my camera folder, or even tried to send a picture from the picture folder itself, and no success.

I think this is why RIM pulled this build a few days ago, I obtained this build from MegaUpload.

It's looking very obvious I will have to downgrade back to .353, which is unfortunate, as .439 was probably the best build it seems so far, minus attaching pictures to a BBM contact, or lack of.

I have the button issue as well but I'm sticking with 439. The benefits outweigh the bugs. After a week of having it, today the new message icon bar was acting weird though. I'd get an email, text or bbm and it wouldn't show anything unless I scrolled over the message bar highlighting it. Then it would show the icons and number of new messages. Hopefully that bug goes away cause that's one bug I couldn't live with. The button issue doesn't bother me too bad.

That's something I didn't mention. It looks like there's an issue with the notification bar not updating properly. I have a MeterBerry icon in there, which often would not update the status while charging.

I went back to .353. As trivial as some feel, pressing the back and/or menu key multiple times ended up being a deal breaker for me. This is a definite drag as .439 seemed to be the best os leak, with the exception of the menu/back key issue.

The button problem is annoying but I am just keeping the slider open, the improvement in performance is worth it to me. Kind of makes me want a Bold 9900 more and more using the torch with the lider open though. Really like the Bold form factor.

After six days, it's safe to say that battery life totally rocks on this build. Best one yet by far for battery life.

Too bad about the back and BB button glitch. I find it very odd that it doesn't always occur, though.

I wouldn't say it totally rocks, but it's markedly improved, the battery life that is. I'm still not sure if I want to keep it thou. The frequent need for multiple key presses of menu/back buttons drives me nuts. Keeping the slider open does fix it, which is very odd.

Not sure if anyone has the same problem but I haven't had the time to wade through the other posts. Somehow my daily alarm and calendar alarm don't see to go off. It goes off but then there is no sound. I'm not sure if it is cause by an app or just the OS. I have done a factory wipe and reinstalled .439 but still am having issues. I have uninstalled all app and will monitor the issue.
