No Flash while video recording

I have be having this problem 4 a while now the flash works when using the camera to take pictures but nothing please help me !!!

while on video camera
hit menu>options and then check off video light.

I have tried that like a million times I have no idea whats causing the problem. I thought it was a firmware problem but I found out thats not the case either.
