Default Network unlocking a Torch, any way to do it (free)?

as the title says, is there a way to do it for free?

I've just bought a "simfree" 9810... only to find my Vodafone UK sim won't work in it

    Thanks!

There are threads on CB even providing the software to calculate your unlock codes. Please search the CB forums.

    Finally found the thread again.

Her is a shortcut to the software I used myself.

Unlock any blackberry for free using easy software

Hello mate! Thanks for that, I did read that but it wasn't that sadly!

I've sorted it though, turned the device off, charged all night then did a battery pull and bye bye green light

    Cheap??? lol....

Plenty of *FREE* sites that are reliable and dependable. Check the forum. Don't rely on some random Google search.

    Beware of spammers too.
